Adventure for brass quintet 

 

The title of the work prompts the listener to embark on a journey through imagination. The soaring melody by horn seems to take the listener to a wonderland. The mood of music suddenly changes to fast tempo as the first trumpet announces the unabashed theme to set off a journey. The rest of the work is developed by the use of fragments and imitations of the theme.
